A freelance journalist in Italy since 2010, Claudio Colotti told the news first in local newspapers and weeklies as a collaborator and then as an editor in the main private broadcaster in the Marche region. Together with his journalist activity he has cultivated that of social photographer, a commitment that has led him to document the thousand contradictions that affect small and large Italian cities in the time of the crisis. MAI + (never again) The earthquake in central Italy between faces and rubble is his first photographic book published by the Ass. BrandsBestWay. For the same publisher, in 2018 he published MicroPolis – La città di provincia at the time of the Melting Pot, a study on the changing social fabric of small urban agglomerations behind the pushes of modernity. Both works have been the subject of dozens of exhibitions in Italy and abroad in public exhibition halls. As a photojournalist, his photographic reports have appeared in the newspapers: the Friday of the Republic, RAI Storia, RSI Radiotelevisione Svizzera, The Post Internazionale, SenzaFiltro, Melting Pot Europe and Global Project.
